linked2pay Adds Swipe, Pin and Signature for Card Payments

Oxnard, CA (PRWEB) March 18, 2014–

transmodus, the payments technology company that powers linked2pay, today announced the addition of two models of Magtek card readers for use when accepting payments through the virtual terminal solution with linked2pay. These readers provide card data privacy and authentication for credit and debit card transactions.

linked2pay provides for the secured, cloud delivery of 'bundled' payment solutions that combine feature-rich and configurable mobile, online form, email, checkout and virtual terminal acceptance of credit card and ACH payments. Merchants also gain the convenience and efficiency of consolidated reporting that can be easily customized and integrated.

“Adding value to every merchant account is a focus at TSYS, and linked2pay is a prime example of how we are making that an easy to access reality for our merchants. The robust and highly flexible functionality delivered in a single solution, without the time or cost barriers of the past, is driving adoption,” according to Christopher McNulty, group executive, sales, business development and client relations for TSYS Merchant Solutions.

The models are the Magtek Mini for swipe only and the Magtek IPAD for swipe, pin and signature. Using either reader, the merchant is prompted through the transaction in a manner that minimizes key strokes to simplify the process and the associated record keeping.

"Now merchants using linked2pay have a simple option to accept card present transactions. Add this to the acceptance of ACH through that same virtual terminal and the value add multiplies. We strive to make each component of the linked2pay bundled solutions the 'best of breed'," according to Robert 'Jay' McShirley, CEO of transmodus.

These devices can be connected to a computer with an internet connection via a USB drive. According to Magtek, both models are compliant with PCI DSS requirements for cardholder data encryption.
